\’THIS SAVAGE LAND\’ is the much anticipated second album from English rock titans Black Spiders.

Full of highly charged rock and roll the album delivers the bands trademark catchy choruses wrapped in truly huge.

In June 2008 Pete ‘Spider’ Spiby (vocals / guitar), Ozzy ‘Owl’ Lister (guitar) Mark ‘Dark Shark’ Thomas (guitar) Adam ‘the Fox’ Irwin (bass) and Tiger Si (drums) came together for the first time as Black Spiders. They released debut single ‘St Peter’ shortly after and started making a name for themselves with some thrilling live shows.

The band released two acclaimed EP’s ‘NO GOATS IN THE OMEN’ and ‘CINCOHOMBRES (Diez Cojones)’ which preceded the acclaimed debut album ‘SONS OF THE NORTH’. The album reached the Top 5 in the Official UK Rock Charts and spent 9 weeks on the German Rock chart. Riding the wave of acclaim ‘Sons’ received, they completed two sold out UK headline tours and were nominated for awards in Classic Rock Magazine’s ‘Album Of The Year’ category and the Metal Hammer Golden Gods in the \’Best UK Band Category\’.

At the tail end of 2011 and the start of 212 they took some time out to write and work on the tracks that now make up the second full-length album ‘THIS SAVAGE LAND’. The mission was simple – get in and blast out ten killer tracks that beat the listener into rock n roll euphoria!
