UK post-punk pioneers Bauhaus’ immensely influential ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead’ – originally released in 1979 – is generally considered to be the original gothic rock record.

The first official vinyl reissue of ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead’ and the first release of the complete recording session (including three previously unreleased tracks), mastered by Mandy Parnell.

The live version of ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead’ was in iconic 1983 film ‘The Hunger’. It has been covered by Nine Inch Nails, Massive Attack and Nouvelle Vague.

The original version of ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead’ has never been available on streaming services.

LP pressed on 180g vinyl. The artwork is a variation of the original 1979 12”. Includes reproduction of original recording session tape on inner sleeve, 50x50cm poster of cover and gold retail sticker.

Founding members Peter Murphy and David J tour key territories throughout December, including dates at the Kentish Town Forum in London, Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and Paris.

For fans of The Cure, Siouxsie And The Banshees, Joy Division.
