Originally issued in 1983, The Art Of Falling Apart is the second full length effort from English synthpop duo Soft Cell. The album climbed to No. 5 on the UK charts on the strength of the two Top 25 singles “Where The Heart Is” and “Numbers” plus further upbeat standouts like “Kitchen Sink Drama” and “Loving You, Hating Me.” This 2016 vinyl reissue features the epic “Martin” (based on the obscure George Romero horror film of the same name) on a bonus 12″ just like the original release. A truly one-of-a-kind 10-minute Jimi Hendrix medley of “Hey Joe,” “Purple Haze” and “VooDoo Child” is also featured on the B-side of the bonus 12″.
