Chasing Yesterday is the upcoming second album by the English rock band Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, scheduled to be released on 2 March 2015. The follow-up to High Flying Birds’ 2011 self-titled debut is said to feature “a much broader array of instrumentation than ever before,” resulting in a “rich, expansive and multi-layered record, drawing from a range of disparate influences — from west coast rock to classic rock ‘n’ roll and even some space jazz (!).” Johnny Marr appears on the album’s closing track “Ballad of the Mighty I”.
