Their 1980 debut album ‘The Awakening’, recorded when they were in or just out of their teens, is a diverse and relatable album marked by chunky dance music, romantic ballads and even a fusion instrumental track.

Hit song ‘Remote Control’, the album’s opener, is a funky party song with an energetic bass line, while ballads such as ‘Come In Out Of The Rain’ are reminiscent of Otis Sr. in his heyday.
