Louis Cole is an LA-based singer songwriter and sickeningly talented multi-instrumentalist with a strong DIY aesthetic. He is on a mission to create deep feelings through music. Thundercat describes him as “one of Los Angeles’ greatest musicians.”

Louis is the figurehead of an LA jazz-adjacent scene that includes Genevieve Artadi (with whom Cole co-founded the alt pop / electrofunk band KNOWER in 2009), Sam Gendel, Sam Wilkes, Jacob Mann, Pedro Martins and more.

Cole’s new album, ‘Quality Over Opinion’, features the aforementioned Genevieve Artadi and Sam Gendel plus Chris Fishman, Nate Wood, Marlon Mackey, Kurt Rosenwinkel and more.

Thundercat has a song on his GRAMMY Award-winning album, ‘It Is What It Is’, that the pair wrote together, called ‘I Love Louis Cole’. Louis also played drums for Thundercat on his recent tour of Japan in April 2022.
