‘7” release featuring the original track & a CID RIM remix Hot on the heels of the release of the mesmerising video for ‘Marble Skies’, the title track from their current critically acclaimed Top 20 album of the same name, Django Django now share a fresh remix of the track courtesy of CID RIM. The boundary-pushing Austrian producer’s remix is a radical post-modernist reconstruction of Django Django’s original. Using the track’s percussion and topline as a foundation, CID RIM builds upwards with rich layers of stabbing synths, glitchy beats and warped melodies. The resulting remix maintains the spark of the original track, while simultaneously reshaping it into cutting edge electronica. ‘Marble Skies’ is CID RIM’s first official remix since he released his current album ‘Material’ on the LuckyMe label late last year.
