Some words from Mariusz: € I’d like to invite you to listen to my new music tale called € Lockdown Spaces’. The music is inspired, as the title suggests, by life in quarantine. It’s a dark, minimalist, claustrophobic album, which came to my mind during recording sessions for the new Lunatic Soul. I decided that to intensify the “lockdown effect” I will play only electronic instruments here, with an addition of samples & voice. Composed & performed by Mariusz Duda, of Riverside & Lunatic Soul & recorded during a two-week period in June 2020 at Serakos Studio, Warszawa by Magda & Robert Srzedniccy, this is some of Mariusz’s most intimate work to date & an example of a darker side. € Lockdown Spaces’ is finally available on LP for the first time.
