Ultravox formed in the early 1970’s with original front man John Foxx but it wasn’t until 1980 that they broke through to the mainstream success with new vocalist Midge Ure and new label Chrysalis Records.

Released in 1984 and produced by the band, ‘Lament’ was their fourth album with Midge Ure on vocals and went on to sell over 100,000 copies in the UK. It included three Top 10 singles: ‘One Small Day’, ‘Lament’ and the worldwide hit ‘Dancing with Tears in My Eyes’.

This new vinyl was cut from the original ¼” production masters by Alchemy Mastering. The sleeve will replicate the original 1984 design by Peter Saville using a Black Carabic 350gsm card with a spot gloss varnish.

This Special Edition vinyl includes a bonus 12” featuring all the 7” edits and their corresponding b-sides, along with an exclusive to this release a U.S. Promo Only 7” remix of ‘One Small Day’.
