Hotly-tipped recent Wichita Recordings signings Cheatahs present this compilation of their two 2012 EPs.

Previously only available separately on 12” and download, the set brings together the eight songs on CD for the first time ever.

The sound recalls the glory days of Shoegaze (Swervedriver, My Bloody Valentine, The Boo Radleys), but where so many of their contemporaries concentrate on the sonics of that genre, Cheatahs also possess the songcraft and tunes that make them stand out head and shoulders above the competition.

Both EPs were recorded in London by Dean Reid, the band’s bassplayer, and mixed by Dean and the band.

The band has previously played with Best Coast, Ariel Pink, The Cribs, King Tuff and Cloud Nothings, amongst others.

For fans of Deerhunter, Diiv, Swervedriver, My Bloody Valentine, Dinosaur Jr, Teenage Fanclub, Sugar, The Boo Radleys.
