A Stynet Strejfer is the name of CV Jørgensen’s first studio album, which was released on LP in 1974 at the record company Hookfarm . The recording took place in that time, the primitive Werner Demo Studio with just four tracks. Werner Scherrer, the owner of the studio, served as a technician, but there was no actual producer in the recording.

Musically, the album is especially influenced by Ivan Horn’s virtuoso guitar game, and a relatively large number of soli occurs, for example. in songs like “Black Winter”, “Polotechnics” and “Direct from the Heart Just”. In several of the songs, “Hey Steen Salonfirben”, the title number and “Fandens til sumpparty” there is a lot of tempos shift, something that rarely appears on CV Jørgensen’s later albums. The rhythm group has been described by Niels Martinov as “remarkably heavy and no longer swinging”. The same author denotes production as “very uneven” and the texts as “enigmatic and indigestible” and characterized by a fairly widespread sadness and pessimism.
