Last spring, Maurane was recording a tribute album to Jacques Brel that was particularly close to her heart when she died. Lou, her daughter, has decided to finish the realization of this album of 12 titles with Philippe Decock, the pianist of Maurane and her musicians. She also provides visual design “She would have liked this album to be finished” says Lou “My mother wanted to pay tribute to Brel and do something like him” . Thus 40 years after the disappearance of Jacques Brel, Maurane will be able to pay him this homage that was so important to her.
