New double album from Canadian metal maestro Devin Townsend, one side featuring Devin Townsend Project and the other featuring Ziltoid. Has already sold out Royal Albert Hall in London next year.

The vinyl version comes as extremely caressingly and elaborated worked 4 LP version – 2 LPs for ‘Sky Blue’ and 2 for ‚Dark Matters‘. All vinyl is black, extra heavy 180 gram. Additionally the 2 CD was added to the upcoming beautifully shaped package.

The obsessed Canadian Devin Townsend, who has achieved 30 albums in his impressive career, now increases the dedication in shape of a double album including multimedia, which offers a cross-section of what he is able to do as an artist. To delight in „Z2“ is like diving into the mysterious creases of the Devin Townsend Project catalogue and mix with the layers bludgeoning down heaviness and angelic melodies that dwell beneath the cathedral of Devin’s thoughtful solo visions. A highlight on the new release is the ‘Universal Choir’. There was a website designed, on which the fans could upload their own vocal recordings of parts of the album. Then these files were taken and assembled into a 2000 people strong “fan choir”.
