Steinway artist & composer Chad Lawson has been featured on CBS Sunday Morning, NPR’s All Things Considered and Performance Today.  Lawson’s solo work has a relaxed, meditative feel that draws on both the sonorities of classical music and the freeform nature of jazz improv.  His previous solo piano album, re:piano, peaked at #1 on the iTunes Classical Chart and #1 on Amazon Music (All Genres).  In addition, Lawson has scored two popular podcasts, Lore and Unobscured, and in total release over 10 albums.  His music has been used in countless films and commercials such as The Walking Dead, Chevrolet, IBM, Microsoft, Delta Airlines, and many others.Lawson’s first solo piano album for Decca Records US, You Finally Knew, which was recorded at Abbey Road Studios, features him preforming 10 of his own brand-new compositions. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, Lawson will release Stay, an EP of 5 tracks curated as a 15-minute piece to aid listeners in taking time out of their busy lives to focus on personal wellness and healing.
