Following performances at Glastonbury, Latitude and a headline slot at End Of The Road, the one-time Mercury nominee, critically-celebrated English troubadour Ed Harcourt begins a new chapter of his career with a mini album of tracks that are somewhat darker than we’ve heard from him before.

There’s an air of malevolence to these tracks. Flickers of Tom Waits, glimmers of James Blake and a smidgeon of Nine Inch Nails’ angelic moments, plus some Eels growl and a bit of Beck’s rummaging through hip hop beats.

‘Love Is A Minor Key’ was something Ed, in his day job as a gun for hire, wrote for Ren Hervieu. ‘Love Is A Melody’ featured on her debut album. Ed also wrote and produced the forthcoming Sophie Ellis-Bextor album.

Guest vocalists Kathryn Williams and Megan Washington appear on the record.

‘Time Of Dust’ is now being made available on vinyl. Previously released on CD and digital download formats.

Ed will soon be entering the studio with Flood (Nine Inch Nails, PJ Harvey) to work on his seventh full length album.
