Edison is a true rock’n’roll renaissance man: once acclaimed as an assassin behind the drums (with legendary Spanish punk rock band the Pleasure Fuckers, not to mention his time as an inmate in GG Allin’s band), Edison moved to the microphone to front his “gospel-blues-garage experiment” the Edison Rocket Train (produced by Edison with his longtime collaborator Jon Spencer). A ceaseless artist, Edison has also published numerous, critically acclaimed books, under his own name and as a gun-for-hire (including a New York Times bestseller), most recently a biography of Rolling Stones’ drummer Charlie Watts.
