Supermodel is the sophomore album from American pop trio Foster the People. After their runaway success with 2010 single “Pumped Up Kicks,” which gained popularity later in 2012, Foster the People began recording demos and songs for this record while on tour, using a portable setup, before entering a full studio with Paul Epworth (Adele, Friendly Fires). They turned to British bands the Clash and the Kinks for inspiration and to add some grit to their polished indie pop sound. ~ Scott Kerr
