“The Reminder” is the third solo album from Canada’s Leslie Feist, previously associated with The Broken Social Scene and Kings Of Convenience. This album is a quiet, almost fragile moment in time, with songs that at first seem to meander without a distinct melody, yet slowly but surely creep into your mind, as all good albums do. Lovers of Cat Power will enjoy this, minimal yet captivating. A real gem, this album is creative and inventive, and she sings with a warble, sometimes just in tune, but never grating or annoying.
