Hailing from The Hague’s blossoming ‘60s rock scene, Earth & Fire was already a well-known Prog-group in The Netherlands before they scored an international hit with ‘Weekend’. A move towards mainstream 70’s pop with their new producer (and singer Jerney Kaagman’s delectable blue leather catsuit) catapulted the album ‘Reality Fills Fantasy’ to the top of the album charts. Both the single and the album went platinum in 1979 and were voted single and album of the year by the Dutch public. A good example of Nederbeat, ‘Reality Fills Fantasy’ is a classic, and will be released on Vinyl for the first time in over 30 years!
