Robin Schulz rose to UK fame with his massive 2014 Summer anthem ‘Waves’. To date, the song has achieved #1 in the iTunes charts in 27 countries and was Top 10 iTunes in 36 countries. Schulz is the first German artist whose track achieved the #1 position in the Worldwide Shazam Charts. This success is exciting for the 27-year-old from the German town of Osnabruck, who has been a DJ and producer for 12 years. This was followed up by the huge Lillywood remix of ‘Prayer in C’ which landed Schulz his second UK No.1 in September 2014. Prayer in C was at its peak, number across the board in both the charts and also online, gaining massive support from fans on Spotify and Shazam where it peaked at No.1 in both UK & Global charts. Prayer in C has now gone on to be certified platinum in the Uk with over 700k sales since September 2014. Schulz’s album ‘Prayer’ is a compilation of all of his massive remixes as well as some of his own music, including Sun Goes Down which is the latest single to be taken from the album and will be released the day before the album. Sun Goes Down has been making tracks on Spotify and Shazam and has shown in the UK chart solely from streaming. The track currently has over 53 million plays and has been in the Top 200 on Shazam for the last 3 months. The 3LP vinyl format (pressed on 180g vinyl) is entitled “Extended Prayer” and features the extended mixes of the tracks from the CD.
