Joe Bonamassa, the two-time GRAMMY-nominated blues rock guitar icon, has announced the release of Live At The Sydney Opera House on October 4th May on CD and double vinyl (Black / Blue) via Mascot Label Group in Europe and J&R Adventures in North America. Live At The Sydney Opera House was recorded in 2016 at the world famous and iconic Australian concert hall. The Sydney performance features as a live companion to Joe’s 2016 studio album Blues of Desperation, which saw the maverick superstar guitarist, singer and songwriter tossing away the rule book as he continues to reinvent and redefine the blues-rock genre like no other artist working today. Seven of the nine songs on this album were taken from Blues Of Desperation. The track list is rounded out by a song from Joe’s album Different Shades of Blue (“Love Ain’t a Love Song”) and a cover of one of Joe’s all-time favorite guitarists Eric Clapton (“Mainland Florida”).
