Since January 1972 and the release of his debut self-titled album, Jackson Browne’s career has been garnished with critical applause. The 23 year-old boyish singer/songwriter displayed an acutely profound and disarming sincerity in his songs that were gracefully received by critics and audiences alike on his debut promotional tour. His foothold on favourable opinion had found strength at the Jabberwocky Club, Syracuse University, New York on March 27, 1971, one of his first documented and surviving solo appearances (aside from his impromptu spots with Steve Noonan at the Paradox in 1966).

His August 15th appearance at Philadelphia’s Main Point in 1973 alongside his requisite partner in song David Lindley marks his second headline performance at the coffee house, his first appearance here was in November 1971 opening for Bonnie Raitt with subsequent shows alongside Chris Smither and Mike D’Abo in 1972.
Echoes’ is delighted to present the entire WBCN-FM radio broadcast of this exquisite 1973 performance from two of America’s finest songwriters and instrumentalists.
Fully re-mastered with detailed liners and photos.
