Remastered From the Original Analogue Masters By Bob Ludwig and Longtime Engineer Toby Scott and Expanded Across 2LPs To Maximize Audio Quality

Released simultaneously with Lucky Town in 1992, the soul-inflected Human Touch marks Bruce Springteen’s first band record without the E Street Band. Another first: collaborating on songwriting with co-producer Roy Bittan who also plays keyboards throughout. The core group is rounded out by drummer Jeff Porcaro (Toto) and bassist Randy Jackson (Journey). Bruce has called this his “happy record,” and it’s clearly indicative of an artist searching for a new path. The platinum-certified effort’s hit title track was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Vocal Performance. “…the breakup of the E Street Band following the Human Rights Now! Tour in 1988 gave Springsteen the freedom to record with different musicians for virtually the first time in his career, and there are a few songs on the two albums that probably would not have surfaced on an E Street album,” wrote Rolling Stone.

Features:
• Expanded across two LPs to maximize audio quality
• Remastered by acclaimed engineer Bob Ludwig and Springsteen’s longtime engineer Toby Scott
• Transferred from the original analogue masters using the Plangent Process playback system
