Saint Vitus is an American doom metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 1978. The band has been regarded and credited as one of the first bands of the genre, starting out as early as the late 1970s, along with Pentagram, Witchfinder General, Trouble and Candlemass. As of 2012, they have released eight studio albums.

Hallow\’s Victim is their second album, released in 1985 and the last to feature original singer Scott Reagers until their seventh album, Die Healing (1995).
