Originally recorded with Brian Paulson (Wilco, Slint), Foolish is the fourth album by Superchunk (and first full length on Merge), and includes the singles “The First Part” and “Driveway to Driveway.”

Allmusic.com calls Foolish “a dark masterpiece that contrasts the band’s signature high-energy powerpunk attack…with a far more somber, orchestrated approach.”

Now remastered by Jason Ward of Chicago Mastering Company from the original 1/2” reels, Foolish is available for the first time on 180 gram vinyl with coupon for full album download.

Both CD and LP reissues include an essay by Superchunk’s own Jon Wurster. In addition, both CD and LP reissues include downloadable bonus tracks previously unavailable.

Remastered album from original 1/2” reels on CD and 180-gram vinyl + bonus download audio. Bonus is The Clambakes, Vol. 6: One in a Row (a 64-minute live recording from 1994) + three songs from rehearsals taped just prior to recording the album + three acoustic b-sides from the Driveway to Driveway EP.
