‘Family Tree’ is a collection of home demos recorded by the late, influential singer-songwriter Nick Drake, prior to the release of his 1969 debut, ‘Five Leaves Left’. Featured alongside intimate versions of Drake originals and traditional folk songs, are interpretations of material written by Bert Jansch and Bob Dylan. The album also includes performances from the same period by his mother and sister, hinting at the influence of Drake’s family on his developing musicianship.
