From R&B to Pop to in more recent years Jazz, Georgie Fame’s career is still as busy as it was in the 1960’s. He’s worked with many of the finest American jazz musicians and let’s not forget his tireless work with Van Morrison in the studio and on tour.

“Cool Cat Blues” was released in 1991, recorded in New York City, along with Van are such luminaries as vocalists Jon Hendricks and Boz Scaggs and guitarist Robben Ford. This album sparked a wave of recordings in this genre, and the following year he was to record with the great New Orleans funkmeister Dr John.
Among the tunes are a reworking of his 60’s classic tune “Yeah Yeah”, the classic tune (made famous by Mose Allison) ” I Love the Life I Live, I Live the Life I Love” and a cover of Van’s famous “Moondance”.
