Mastered by Joe Reagoso and Manufactured at RTI
During the ’70s, a new brand of pop music was born, one that was steeped in African and African-American styles – particularly jazz and R&B but appealed to a broader cross-section of the listening public. As founder and leader of the band Earth, Wind & Fire, the late great Maurice White not only embraced but also helped bring about this evolution of pop, which bridged the gap that has often separated the musical tastes of black and white America. It certainly was successful, as EW&F combined high-caliber musicianship, wide-ranging musical genre eclecticism, and ’70s multicultural spiritualism into one hit making machine.

1977’s diverse All ‘N All continued the band’s winning trend earning triple platinum certification and a trio of Grammy Awards. With dynamic arrangements from Tom Tom Washington and Eumir Deodato, the group’s horn section the Phenix Horns became as integral to the Earth, Wind & Fire sound as ever here. You truly can’t go wrong with this stunning mix of expertly executed funk and tender ballads, anchored by the signature hit singles “Serpentine Fire” and “Fantasy.” Colored 180g vinyl reissue from Friday Music, mastered by Joe Reagoso and manufactured at RTI.
