With admirers ranging from Stevie Wonder to Justin Timberlake, Donny Hathaway was among ’70s R&B’s most gifted singer-songwriters. After cutting his teeth as a producer at Curtis Mayfield’s Curtom Records, Donny signed to ATCO as a performer, releasing four studio sets and a live album for the label – the cream of which can be heard on A Donny Hathaway Collection.
