Diverse Vinyl is the LP mail order department of Diverse Music, an independent record store in South Wales.

The mail order department was set up around April 1995 as it became obvious that large parts of the UK were not covered by stores selling LPs, and that vinyl buyers were missing out on a chance to buy new music.

Contrary to popular belief, there are still many new releases on LP, but if it weren't for stores like us, most vinyl enthusiasts would be unaware of them and would reluctantly trek to the nearest megastore to buy the CD.

The aim of Diverse Vinyl is to stock and sell music from all categories, not to specialise in any one area.

Our website lists all the stock we hold at the time of upload. Obviously not all new albums warrant a vinyl pressing, but sometimes popular titles are released on LP overseas, which we will import. In fact, if an album is available on LP anywhere in the world, we'll do our best to keep it in stock! We hope the site will provide a near-definitive list of all brand new LPs available, whether reissues or new albums, and offer an invaluable worldwide resource to vinyl junkies everywhere. We cater for diverse tastes in music in more than 25 countries.
