It’s hard to believe that it’s been three years since the last Coral LP, especially when you consider the quick succession with which the first few were released! Taking time to hone your trade never hurt anyone, and it seems that’s exactly what The Coral have been doing this time around. Their trademark 60s retro sound moves forward in time from Phil Spector’s wall of sound, into Laurel Canyon and beyond with a distinct flower power feel. Regular producer/genius John Leckie continues to capture the essence of what this band is all about, “Butterfly House” is perfect summer listening!
